SONY handycam need help converting????

    Hi guys, can anyone help in telling how to transfer analog video to my PC, thats because the my camera its Sony Hi8 (tape), and i wanna know which component do i need to install in my computer or any external device that i need to get to get my movies out this thing and transfers it to my PC, i will gladly appreciate any help..........!!!

    You need a TV tuner card or other device (USB stick) that will take the analog audio/video signal and convert it to a PC readable digital format. They care commonly called "capture cards".

    The camera has both S-video as well as composite video and audio output. You will connect those (one or the other video plus audio) to your capture card and input into your PC.
