hi just bought a sony RDR-gx210 because it has a fire wire link for dv dubbing from my sony camcorder but now i find tyhat vit is not recording the first few seconds of tape or wont play music that has been added to still photos and if any video was edited on the pc with fire wire link alot of problems pop up when trying to copy on the recorder. sony dont tell people this in the adds.
... Maybe it is a problem with your unit ... Return it and try again, if that doesn't solve the problem try updating your firmware ...
at the moment i am in the process of sending it back.took it to a mates house , tried it therewith some of his discs was just the same.put my disc in his recorder perfict.and his recorder was only half the price of mine. yamaha or some make like that.thanks for the reply.
