occording to the security web page thebugs.ws some hacker has cracked the dvd blu ray encryption code to illegally burn blu ray disks problem blu ray rewritable disk are 20.00 each disk so saving money by using the format illegally not going to be cost effective for a while
the format war will come...sony won last time, unfortunately. i hope a single format will arise and the other will be dropped soon.
Dual format players are being developed (by NEC? Pioneer?) anyway, Just buy one of those and everybody wins.
thats great but ill still wait to see it before i get all excited and if it is true then i guess sony better do something quickly to stop it or the pirates or going to have a field day haha but honostly i dont care about the blue ray or hd-dvd well not until they become as cheap as dvd5's
Anything you download is such bad qualtiy that its not worth it. So this really only help us who backup those exspensive disks.
Heres the link http://thebugs.ws/news/view/id/1669/ . But its still not worth copying 'till the price drops for everything.
I have bad memory, anyway, since they won last time who were their competitors and what did they win with? (I am guessing DVD as they did invent them, as far as I know) Anyhow BLURAY, BLURAY, BLURAY, all the way. I don't dispice MicroSoft, but I do use a lot of their products, so I can't complain, as for the war thing, HD-DVD and BluRay I think it is still to early for another format, DVD's are ok and affordable. BluRay
i was mistaken; yeah, it was jvc that won. but sony doesn't deserve to...they're just as soulless as microsoft... >.<
As my nick might suggest I want Sony BluRay to win purely because I am a Sony Playstation fan and always have been, I like MicroSoft XBOX games but rarely enjoy them as much as I would with a PlayStation game, don't know why but thats the way it has always been with me.
Its called fan-boy syndrom. Very contagious, disease may last for life. Symptons cloggin up the forums fighting about which console looks better.
LMAO, nah would'nt say I am a fan boy, just a general person who thought BluRay sounds better than HD-DVD, imagine haveing that as a nick.
