Sony's oma format

    I have read with interest the thread about converting .oma files to other audio formats. However I have an unusual problem - I want to convert files TO .oma files. (The reason for this is that I want to be able to write, using Sony software, to audio mini discs, without playing the tracks and thus converting from digital data to analogue and back.)
    Can anybody help, please?
