I think this is the last season, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Recorded last night's show with TiVo (by DirectTV). I have a Sony stand-alone DVD Recorder (VRD-VC20) and I wanted to transfer the show to DVD (archive purposes...I'm running out of room on my TiVo). It wouldn't let me do it. Called Sony and they said it was because the show was copyright protected. I'm like, "What the...?!?!?"

Anybody know a work-around...macrovision hack or something? Thanks in advance.

I have never seen the show, but hasn't it been off the air for almost 2 years? They just brought it back now, for one more season? The actors/actresses who play in the show should have made better investments, so they wouldn't have to go back to work. ROFLMAO!

1 more plus 7 episodes next year, also their thinking about making more.

Actually, its not like they are all poor and had to to come back to work.. also it takes time to make those shows, and also takes time to write them..

It is the fw in the Tivo that stops you from transfering, I have a Panasonic DVD-Recorder that has the HDD in it and I recorded the show on it and transferred it fine. Try recording directly to your recorder and then you can edit on your PC if you want.
