Hello, i lost the installation cd that came with Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 . I went to creative's website as well as other websites to find the drivers for XP. The only ones that they offer are updates for the previous drivers and anytime i try to download something else i get error messages that will not detect my sound card. I can't find any drivers on the internet that came with my orginal cd, I was wondering if someone could please help me out. Thank you for your time.
Just looked at the Creative support pages, ran through the Download section, and found only updates like you said. Here is what they say at the bottom in small print: "Couldn't find what you were looking for? If you would like to purchase a replacement installation CD for your product, please contact us". Sounds like you may need to purchase a disk from them. The "contact us" was a hyper link to email them. Don't know how much this may cost or how easy they are to deal with.
