I recently downloaded a few Tv shows off eDonkey and they don't play any video when i run them, i hear all the sound but that's it. I ran Gspot and it told me i had all the codecs i need. btw i do have the Nimo Codec Pack installed. any takers?

I have the exact same issue, I think its caused by the presence of multiple codecs but I'm not sure. If I find an actual solution I'll let you know but for now I can succesfully play these files using the Divx Player instead of windows media player.

I had the same problem with Nimo installed a while back. I uninstalled it and only installed the codecs I really needed and it worked ok after that.

I suggest you get the latest codec software. I think it's downloadable from the internet.
I had the same problem, but got the latest codec and the good thing about it is that the video is really clear!

    Hoped this helped

I fixed the problem a little while ago. I DLed that latest version of divX, and use winamp as my player and it has been working fine since then.

Was that a joke? When you say "latest codec" you should probably specify which one...

Bitcount... as a member I would have thought you would have done a search before posting (or at least posted in a more applicable area)

For a complete listing of almost every codec required to watch a movie and the order to install them in... pay a visit to http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/48608
