All i know, is that my sister gave me a computer, its a pentium with windows xp, she said i have to download drivers for the sound. No i dont have a disk, It was her old work computer??

I dont want to ask her to bring it back to work and have their it department fix it.

The solution is quite simple. Check Device Manager to find out what sound card or onboard chip is in the computer, then go to the manufacturer's website, and download and install the drivers for it.
