Apologies if this has been covered b4, but i searched and couldn't find anything!

I have joined 2 avi files with virtualdub. The joined file plays prefectly on my pc...lovely picture and sound.

I then converted the file with winavi. The converted file plays on my pc perfectly....sound and picture spot on.

Then it all goes tits up!!

When i burn it to disk with nero, the picture quality is perfect but there is no sound!!

    any suggestions guys?

    cheers in advance

when you burn it to disk, are you playing it back on the same pc that it plays ok on?

what player are you trying to use?

I know its sounds stupid but did you check the advanced volume controles on the pc to make sure the cd drive isnt set to something silly?

also if your playing on a stand alone divX or Xvid dvd player there are 2 types of chipset and some are not compatible with type of encoding, usually if this is the case then switching the install options to support the other chipset fixes the problem.
