I downloaded a movie about a week ago and no matter what format i put it in the sound is horrible. the only way i've been able to play it is on my cpu and using my action replay max evo (it plays in my ps2 for about 20 min. every time then freezes). Any ideas out there?

XviD is a video codec only. It has nothing to do with audio.

Well that's helpful to know but i'm still stuck on the same problem. Any suggestions on how to correct the sound?

well the one thing you could do is, contact the site where you downloaded the file from and tell them the audio is bad and you would like your money back from the site, or have them let you download the movie again. and if they won't give your money back i would just go out and buy the movie and make a backup of the movie. hope that helps, also you might try runing the file through gspot, and that will tell you what is up with the audio, happy burning good luck have a nice day
