I've tried to make svcd's out of a couple different video files that I have and everytime when I go to play the svcd the sound is messed up. You can kinda hear whats happening, but theres alot of static. The video part seems to be fine. I tried using virtualdub to do the sound separate and have tmpgenc do it but I got the same results. This happened on both a file that was ac3 and one that used like mp3 or some codec that tmpgenc can handle (I don't remember which it was right now). I can post the steps that I went through if you guys think that will help narrow it down.

well, nevermind about part of that post. Apparently the sound is only f'ed up when I play the svcd with powerdvd. If I play it on a stand alone dvd player its fine, and if I open it with windows media player its fine. It just seems to be something with power dvd.
