I have a large avi file (700MB). The graphics are perfect but the sound does not match up with the video (sound is faster than the video). I played it in Windows Media Player as well DivX Player but I keep getting the same results. The audio codec that the file uses is : WMplug. Does anyone recommend a better audio codec? Is the codec the problem here? Please help. Thank you in advance.
Hi, if the lag is uniform throughout, you may try correct the problem with e.g. AviFixed: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AVIFixed.htm But remember to back up the original avi first 'cos the program might sometimes back-fire. Good luck!
