SP4 for windows 2000 pro HELP!!

    SP4 has sent my computer into a boot loop.Please tell me what I need to do.

    SP4 has sent my computer into a boot loop.Please tell me what I need to do.It doesnt even want to boot in safe mode either.Also it cant be a virus because its a new system.I have nothing installed on this OS.

    Installing any service pack for Windows is questionable at the very least. The new system files can wreak havoc with older or incompatible drivers.

    Try booting into safe mode...there you can uninstall SP4....but, if you cannot, then your best bet, is to slipstream SP4 into your Windows 2000 disk...and start new.
