I have a Bose iPod Speaker/Dock System, and the sound output is fantastic.. well worth checking out. But please note, it is heavy and extremely pricey for what it's used for. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/02/18/review_bose_sounddock/ If you are looking for something a litle more reasonably priced, then have a look through the following link, which gives a great review on many of the various alternatives. http://www.trustedreviews.com/article.aspx?art=2668 Happy iPodding!
I would recammend the Altec Lansing inMotion.-I have one and it works great-Very loud for a little thing. you can find one here:http://www.alteclansing.com/product_details.asp?pID=IM3 Or if you dont really care about portability, I would recammend the Altec Lansing inMotion IM7. It can be found here:http://www.alteclansing.com/product_details.asp?pID=IM7 hope this helps
Just a suggestion but if you dont want the whole look and portability of the speaker system you can pretty much make your own. What ya do is: Connect your ipod to your pc Turn on itunes (so you can browse through your songs) Browse through your songs and find a song you like Plug your speakers into your ipod Play So there you have it a free, crappy and charging speakers! I know its a bit crappy but i personally prefer this to playing off your pc as songs i think are easier to find! Cheers.. P.s Tell us what you decide to do
What's you're budget like? [bold]iDeck[/bold] If you're ready to spend 200 pounds these are extremely high quality speakers. http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,20409-1801777,00.html They come with a controller which is handy. [bold]Harman Kardon Sound Sticks II[/bold] I highly recommend these. I have these speakers and I'm extremely satisfied with the sound quality plus they look good. http://www.atpm.com/10.04/soundsticks.shtml you will find the best prices for all ipod accessories at: http://shop.ipodworld.co.uk/iPodWorldSite/pages/home/default.asp
