if i already have a modem that is connected to a pc and i want to take that connection and split it into two what do i need? please tell me the complete list and how to do it thank you very much
buy a router and eithernet cables, if you are already using eithernet to run a signal from your modem to your pc then insted of running that cable to your computer run it to the router then the router will have usually 4 other ports to run eithernet cables out from to other computers, if you are using usb and your computer doesnt have eithernet you will need to buy and eithernet card which is only about $20
