I have been reading and learning a lot over the past few months - generally in the DVD rip/burn section. I now have a problem with audio. My daughter records her lectures and wants to put a couple on a CD-R. I have been able to burn previous CD's with her recordings, but they were all less than 60 minutes long. The problem now is she has a lecture that is about an hour an a half, and it won't all fit on one CD. Any freeware to allow me to "split" the recording, and burn two discs? She records WAV Any help is appreciated.
well wav is good! that is the format you will need to split it. some times the programs you use to burn the cd will have a audio editing program along side. Just look in the start menu under programs. Nero's basic program is free and i think havs an audio editing program. One I like is called soundforge. Search this site or download.com for an audio editing program. there are hundreds! some free some with free trials.
