    Hi
Have not really seen a post in the forum for how to split a movie accross two dvd-r's.
I understand IFOEdit can split a movie, though a bit to learn, and not very compatable with XP.
I love DVD Shrink, is there a similar program for splitting a movie?
    Thanks.

Thanks for reply. Link working now, and an excellent read. Don't know how I missed it before.

A must read for all DVDShrink users!

    Hi Pesto,
I really like the guides at the shrink site, I actually downloaded the wink program and have been making my own guides with the moving cursor. Its a fun program! you can make a guide for just about anything.

    Best wishes,
    Frank

In the guide he said that he wasn't going to add the extras but then at the end he says that you can select them when the dvd is being played, did i miss something? Shouldnt the extras go on the first disc? After all, if you select them on the menu (first disc) then you ahve to swap to the second disc to watch them...

Dang Ender, you sure picked an old post to ask a question on, luckily I'm still subscribed to this thread!

Well if you split a disc with Shrink, that means you have reauthored so your menus will not work anymore. The only way to access the extras is to use your player's remote control. It would not really matter what disc you put the extras on.
