Sorry if this is the wrong section, if so could a mod move it to the right place please.

Iv got a bunch of dvds with 4 half hour shows on each. I want to put each show on my hardrive separately? I mean if i can save the dvd on to my hardrive would i then be able to split it up so i have the four shows seperated?

Can someone please explaine what id have to do and what software can do this?

Rip the DVD to a folder on the hard drive with the freeware, DVDFab HD Decrypter.

Open the folder with DVD Shrink.
Click 'Reauthor', and if you see a list of titles down the side that correspond to the running times of your episodes, then drag one over to the left side of the window and click 'Backup'.
That title will be saved in a new folder that can be burned to a DVD disk.
After it is saved, right click on the title and 'cut' it, then select the next title to be backed up.
Use IMGBurn to burn the files to disk.

This is a Simpsons disk showing the episodes that are on the disk.
