I've used Winrar for a long time and used to be able to start the wizard and split an existing archive into parts. Now I don't see that option for an existing archive in the wizard. I must've downloaded a newer version somewhere along the line. Anyway, I'm wanting to put a wmv file into a rar archive and split it into parts of 100,000,000 bytes. I use the wizard to create a new archive and choose the split option, but when processing finishes I only have a single rar file, as if I never chose to split it. I'm thinking this is a bug in the software. The wmv I'm wanting to split is 324MB. Does anyone know why it's not splitting?
Now I feel silly for posting this because it's actually working now. Sorry for the double post too, I didn't see an edit post option.
