I need to split a dvd file into two as it is too long for dvd but the split option in edit is greyed out any help please
Hi.I'll try to help.I'm a noob to Nero but I've managed to get a pretty good grasp of video editing. The way you get splitting to work is..you have to click(highlight)the video track in the timeline...click the video track so it turns from lightblue to darkblue..now..if the video is at 0:00:00 on the timeline...you will still see the split item button greyed out...the trick is you have to move the "position marker"..the vertical skinny dark blue line in the timeline... to where you want to split the video...as soon as you move it a milisecond you will see the split item button go from grey to blue and then your good...it wil split where yo place the marker....
