Hello Everyone Can anyone help with this. My cousin has a desktop hijacker called Afcore.H on his computer. There is an FBI warning constantly on his desktop and it has completely hijacked his internet explorer browser. I have found out that this is serious spyware that has got on his computer through what is known as the backdoor of program software. This spyware claims to be from the FBI and of course it is not the FBI but a personal information hijacker. I have told him not to use any personal info or online asccounts, and I told him not to click the link that is constantly asking him to, until I can remove it for him. I have tried to find where it is in all known places but I can't find any of it's files or the program itself. I have tried removing it with spyware programs but this has not worked. This is rated on security sites as very high risk and it is a very serious risk to him. Please can you help?

Thank you Ken I will try some of those. I did try removing it with Spybot and Ad-aware but not the others. I will post what happens. Thanks.
Hello again I have finally got rid of that spyware with super ad blocker of all things. I ran a scan with it and it was the only program that found it and got rid of it. Thanks alot Ken for all your help.....
