    hi,
    i wonder how to extract a subtitles from a DVD so that i'll have a .srt file that has the same timming as my ripped .Avi file.??

    DVD's use bitmap based subs, srt is text format. Converting from bmp to text requires OCR'ing with something like SubRip.
