    Hi,
I set an A780 up for a friend earlier today and found Sky Sports News was not working. I am assuming this is a problem across the board for the time being as all other channels i checked were no problem, but could someone confirm this for me or not as the case may be. Thanks in advance.

    Update as promised,
I went round to check out today and found SSN now working on her box, she does not know when it started working as she does not watch it. I have since set another A780 up for myself and i have no problems with SSN. I have spare splitters and if problem returns will try one of them out.
    Thanks again.

thats because SSN had moved freq and if you had put your box on standby for 30 mins it would have come back in

when you are going to bed at night put the box on standby as the box scans all the time for moving freq this is a good feature on this box so i suggest you use it and that way you wont be missing channels
