Hello, I feel silly asking this, especially my first post, but I couldnt find an answer in the forum by searching surprisingly. It turns out my DVD player player plays DIVX format, so I can put 6 movies on a single layer DVD? How do I put a Mpeg, or an XVID video into DIVX format so that it will play on my Divx player. Is there a program out there that will turn pretty much an video file into DIVX? Thanks in advance and sorry for the noob question
The XviD videos should play back without conversion. 'Any Video Converter' (free version) converts mpeg and others to DivX. After clicking 'download', scroll down for the free version. http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/
Here is another freebie that looks rather versatile: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multim...r-DIVX-Related/Internet-Video-Converter.shtml http://www.snapfiles.com/opinions/internet-video-converter/internet-video-converter.html
Thanks for the additional link/program. I'm going to try both and I'll post back here how they work, thanks.
