Sometimes during playback the DVD-R movie will start to skip, then fast forward to the end of the movie. This usually happens near the end of the movie. Sometimes the same movie will playback without problem, another time it will start skipping. I don't have any problem playing CD-R recorded movies. I'm using Memorex media, Decrypter, DVD2One and Gear Pro professional or Nero to burn. Any suggestions?
Memorex media is of very variable quality - not recommended by most members of this forum - try better media e.g., Ritek or Verbatim. Ensure that you do not use labels on your burnt DVD's.
I found out that the labels nor the media caused this problem. Although I am switching to Riteck media. The problem is caused in DVD2One, I need to use the constant bitrate setting instead of variable as recommended for full backups. I can use Princo and the movies playback fine.
