The audio problems that I get when converting is choppy audio (as if bits are missing), plus the A/V is sometimes out of sync. The software that I use (normally without problems) is:

    Ripping
    -smartripper or
    -dvd decryptor

    Encoding
    -superDVDripper or
-DVDx (I have tried all combinations of 29.97 or 24.97 with or without audio video sync). Some episodes have no problems, but many episodes like 5,6,7,etc.

I have not used TMPGEnc before, but I assume that this program maybe the solution to my problem. If so, please respond with the settings to get me started.

Series disks are tricky arent they? I'm not sure if there are good guides for series disks here but u can still look i guess http://www.afterdawn.com/articles it would just count as dvd to vcd/svcd anyway, also most of the guides use TMPGEnc!
