I DOWNLOADED GTROM LOADER AND 257 BIN FILE FLASHED MY BOX AND ALL I GOT WAS 4 RUNNING LIGHTS NOTHING ELSE SO I DONE IT AGAIN .SAME PROBLEM CAN ANYBODY HELP IS MY BOX FECKED OR IS THEIR A WAY OUT.CAN ANYBODY E MAIL THE FILES TO ME AGAIN SO I CAN MAKE SURE ITS NOT MINE THAT HAS THE PROBLEM.ANY INFO WOULD BE VERY WELCOME . JEZZER.
you could try a facory reset. then try flashing with dfferent firmware. Stay away from version 260 as it will kill your starview box.
make sure you are using a Null modem cable, (may be in the box the receiver camein when flashing the receiver do the following , run the gtrom file GTROM LOADER v4.00 COM SETTING serial port - com1 baud rate - 115200 STB SETTTING STB model - "GCR 3510" DO NOT TYPE ANYTHING HERE., the computer will put the writing in the box itself BIN FILE - 257ee FILE TYPE - App file only THEN CLIK ON DOWNLOAD, should start counting upto 100% when done the starview will turn off & back on itsself
