    so i just got a 32 inch tv/monitor.
i hooked up my computer to it and turned it on.
    everything worked fine.

i then tried to hook it up to the normal monitor and everything works but after the windows xp loading screen the screen goes black and nothing shows up.

i cant get it to work.

i loaded it in safe mode and it works but doing it normally i get a black screen.

    any advice?

Boot into Safe Mode, Login, then:
My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager.
Expand 'Display adapters and right click on the video card.
    'Uninstall' and reboot.
Allow Windows to start normally and Login (the video adapter will be detected and start in VGA mode).
When Windows has completed loading, right click on the screen and change the resolution (Properties > Settings).

Right click the deskop, click properties, there should be a tab in there from nvidia or ati...that tab will allow you to clone the image so you can see it on both screens at once. If you want to display different stuff on the different screens, just click the "display settings" tab and everything you need is in there.
