I have been playing Halo and Halo2 forever. Been online since the begging. Never looked into modding, but now everone is doing it and it sucks to play against them... I have a X-Box I have a computer I have DSL+ internet What do I need to do? What is my first step? ALL I know is it goes something like this. I connect my PC to XBOX, start downloading and changing file names. Questions? softmod? DOTHALO? Plugins? halo2maps.com? tuts? Yes I know nothing. This is a whole new world. But I want to learn? someone help me! Take me under your wing. and show me step by step. Thanks
I was reading through the forums aobut being banned. They were saying you will get banned after a few hours with modding or for a curtain amount of hours... Yes this is illegal, but how are people getting away with it? Is everyone modding so they can play with friends when they come over or can you actually use it on ranked games... SHould I not worry about doing all this or is it worth it? Why I want to do it is. Because I hear people I am playing with and against talking about modding. I hear about running twice as fast and autoaim. I have played against people who were ungodly... there is no way they can be that good or do the things they do.. you are sniped every second.. like all they have to do is see you. please tell me about this. if this is true and you can do all this
okay i am in ur same situation buy i kno quite more then u being banned is true, but when u go on xbox live turn of your mods tell ur frens u will mod them 4 a two monthz they say they dont dont belive u mod. show them u mod but do it quickly b4 bungie detects ur a modder cuz u dont have to mod in mathmaking to get banned. o i suggest u buy a pre modded xbox cuz i screwed my xbox trying to solder
bungie will ban you 6 hours after you sign in mods. Also i think if you redownload maps because you screwed up yours they do a scan of modded maps. as long as you have mods and you sign you will get banned! but only from matchmaking so if you value matchmaking like kinmaker said you need to get 2 months off your friends. if you want a tutorial look it up on the search forums there are loads! but its really cool modding you can do some cool stuff with your maps you can even get 1080 degrees auto aim and other amazing effects!
