Starting in safe mode

    Hi,

    I was just wondering how to start my laptop on safe mode. Its a packard Bell Easy note it that helps

    hit F8 when it's starting up, then choose safe mode.

    OR you can jsut turn off your computer while its booting up in the windows logo screen lol...then turn on your comp again and it'll promt you with a few options along with "safe mode"

    click on start-->run

    type
    msconfig

    select the "boot.ini" tab and then select "safeboot" check box

    then if you restart your computer your computer will go into safe mode automatically.
