hi, ive done something bad i think! downloaded the latest firmware for starview 1(clone) and it gave me 2 files. 1 being for genuine and 1 for clone. flashed it and done the automatic scan found all the channels emu on working fine, happy days. just happend to look at system info and it said i had the 4.00 version on it which i thought was for genuine only. i mustve clicked the wrong file by mistake. but everything was working fine so i just thought i must have a genuine box( i was told when i got it that it was a genuine box but since i did the counting of the vents which indicated that it was a clone). so i left it as it was and then a couple of days later it packed in. no fireworks or anything. just stopped working. no lights come on at all. ave i fried the thing for good or is there a way of rescueing it? any help appreciated. cheers
at this stage of the game I would bin it, as there is no more fixs or upgrades for it if something else happens, I would upgrade at this stage, rathur than spending good money after bad on a clone box
