I have tried to flash 2 SV 1's this past week & both fail to update when flashed, I'm using GTrom 4 & cryptstar v1.5 core400, I'm sure I
used these files awhile back & the SV's & all worked fine,..any ideas ??

Where are you located UK or Ireland, because that is the correct Firmware and it is fully AU, have you tried pressing Set Default Key and exiting out to Sly Sports 1 UK or if in Ireland then you will have to try a few different channels like Sly 2, Discovery and flicking from channel to channel if it does not move off 0% after 10 secs. or so.

Ireland,.. I know the in's & out's of these boxes & tried all the usual things incl disc,premier,sci-fi & sly2 which has allowed updating for awhile now but not any more in my locality, I'll just have to try all 170+ channels I suppose,...

sv1 is a bad box for updating as box and firmware is old, hope and fingers crossed at times, did u factory reset first before u reflashed ,a fresh scan is always a good thing, remove any splitters before scan and let it update, now the update, try set default key, powering off at back, try sly 2 wait 15 secs to see if it moves, try moving back a number of channels and then forward to said channel.

thanks,..I've flashed many many boxes of all makes & models over the years, I was away for a week & thought a new ecm had occured
while I was away hence my 1st post above, as I said sly2 has carried the hex numbers for months now but seems to have stopped now,..at least in my area,..

Hi guys we have a box it just says starview on the top left corner, it was working fine on saturday then it just froze the picture we had continuation of sound but just a blank screen turning green and saying no signal. The box re-boots itself an the display shows line on boot up like it is scanning then stops. Ive tried to flash the box but nothing happens just flash failed messages. any ideas would be appreciated thanks
