starview 3

hi i have the starview 3,i lost a few channels and i decided to do a factory reset it worked and after a week or so i lost a few more so i done a reset again ,but now when i try rescaning it fails to find any channels.
can any1 help me with this. my other boxes work fine so its not a connection .
help plz

did you select the correct provider when re-scanning? Plug the cable direct into the box and dont use a splitter, reset and then rescan,

Look at the Nagra 3 thread in my sig and see if your area is going yet,

 

yes mate ive tried it all im baffled my other box is working fine

 

could be the tuner is going or gone, if your other boxs are working fine

 

so wat do u reckon bin it. would it be worth while buying another one or will they all be hit with n3 soon

 

it aint worth fixing in my book, its an old box mate and wont last much longer, have a look at the Evolution Thread about the Kryptview
