    Hi guys,
Please someone help me! I've tried to upload the latest software onto my new starview 4 via USB. It did not upload and was stuck on 6% for 10 mins! I powered the box off and back on and cannot get the menu screen. All I'm getting is '8882' on the small led display on the box. Is my box dead or can this be resolved?!

    Any help appreciated

sounds like your box is dead try do a reflash but i doubt it will work you will need to buy a j.tag to bring your box back to life dont know much about them but they work
also you could get in touch where you bought the box as it will still be under warrenty as it did not flash the firmware will not be on it so if you got it online get in touch with the company
all the best hope you get it sorted did you check if it is a clone at the end of mu post you will see guide for flashing box usb click into it and there is a link that will show you the diff between a clone and real box

Thanks a mill hooter. THink I will try the Jtag thing first. Sourced a place in UK that I can get one for £13 so will order that today. Failing that I will contact supplier as you advised as it still under warranty. Thanks again.
