Starview 4 remote issue and Hard drive capacity question

    HI guys

    recently my toshiba tv remote is started interfering with my starview box...i control tv volume and it changes starview channels?!?!
    any idea?

    also what average HD size will i be looking at for a 2 hours tv recording?

    You're probably looking at about a gig an hour recording from the SV4 I reckon.

    so a 4gb usb should be enough to record a movie or a fottie game

    does the starview 4 support set record time? does it pick up the channel itself or shall i leave it on such channel?

    It will change channel for you when you've set it.

    If the epg is working you can schedule recordings from there. V1.7 is best for this. V1.12 is a nightmare and given that the SV6 has just been announced it's unlikely, given their record, that there'll be a firmware update to fix it.

    ive had the same issues with the starview and my toshiba tele. i just leave the tele volume set and use the volume on the starview remote.
