Hi, We have Starview 4super usb all been working fine with firmware v1.12 over the last few days certain channels have not been working, Symptoms we receive now are "no signal" displayed certain channels in the catagories, Any ideas???? plz help this has also happend to many ppl in my area with same box
sorry new to this and on the virgin site it says There are currently no issues so u think i should rescan channels and it might pick signal up for the channels saying no signal
try a factory reset. press menu and then go down to factory setting and press ok on your remote. you will be asked to enter your pin number(if you never had a pin number just enter 0000 on your remote)now your on the installation menu, choose english and then press ok on installation, choose your provider(in your case virgin) and then choose auto scan.when the scan is complete press exit back to where it says installation,now on your remote enter 1570 and you will see the hidden menu, switch key code to on using the arrow buttons on your remote.now go back to the tv channels and see are they working again,your pin number is now 0000 and you will need to reset your clock and any parental settings.
hi there my friend has same problem but his is a dbox not a starview do u know how to fix tht an all plz

havent done a lot with dbox sorry dreambox yes,they are a little alike. has he tried to do a scan first that may do the trick,menu/setup/provider search(making sure he searches on his provider ie ntl/virgin etc). if not press menu button or dbox button and see if you can see something like (expert settings)and then look for (factory reset/factory settings)if he puts his codes in manually he will need to put them back in after a factory reset(if he uses an up to date image he will be fine)after a reset you will have to go through all the installation process again and then scanning for channels,followed by restarting the emu.but try a scan first.i would say look around for more info before attempting a reset on the dbox if you have any doubt.sorry i was not more help.
