starview 4 the box super usb few channels have gone off how to fix

hi there can u help me i av a starview 4 super usb box and av lost a few channels in past few days how do i get thm bk ?? skysports extra eurosport itc channel 4 few others any 1 help

 

menu factory reset new scan on your provider and direct feed from your wall

dont forget to turn back on your key code menu 1570 on key pad

 

whts the key code i got the box of a friend so i havent done it my self if i reset it will i need the usb adaptor with the bin file on to reload it on the box

 

just follow what i said to you the key code is the emu

menu >> factory reset >>> rescan on your provider

when you have your channels back

menu >>> 1570 on key pad >> keycode or emu on

exit out and let the box update

 

yea but whn i reset will the firmwear stil be on the box ? cause i dnt have it to reload on it so dnt wanan reset if u have to put tht on cause thn ill loose all channel thank you for you for helping me

 

you dont lose the firmware only the channels thats on the box but you are rescanning the box again for them to come back.

I have given you my advice you can either do it or find another way yourself your choice.

 

o right i thought if u put it bk to factory default it would get rid of the firm wear program on it i do appreciate yur help alot its just i dnt really have a clue wht am doing and dnt wanna mess it up so i have no channels

so i go to factory default delete all channels thn go to installation automatic scan let it scan the channels thn when finshed go to menu and press 1570 thn wht ?? wht was u on about " keycode or emu on " whts tht m8 sorry if am i pain

 

when you go into the 1570 you will see it in there its the last option on the bottom of screen just turn it back on and exit out to main tv screen again and your channels should be there

also make sure when you are scanning you are on main feed no splitters on your incoming cable as this could be a scanning problem for you

 

right so went entering the 1570 code it will bring a box up , just turn in on thn its done and yea me box is plugged in to were the virgin 1 was u got any ideas why i lost a few channels just says no signal but rescanning will bring em bk 100% yes ?

 

no signal means excatly that your cable feed is not getting thru to the box so if your providers is down for any reason this will happen

you are always best of checking their website first and then you will know what is what

 

Well thts the hole point on sky prem , eurosport and few over it says no signal thts wht i ment by losted channels so dnt u think searching channels again will pick em up thn how do i get em bk do you know and ntl there is no problem with thm channels my m8 has ntl and his works

 

scan on the main feed NO other boxes or anything else on the cable feed its down to your cable you are having the problem with.

yeah iv lost cpl of channnels aswell itv,ch4,ch5 but it still hav prem 1's like ss1,2,3 & movies

also i have used chn editor to sort them in my own preffered order will i lose this is i need to do factory reset/rescan?

 

yes, but its the easiet way of getting the chans back, remove any splitters and reset and rescan

I have been having the same problem as above and have followed the reset advise several times and still can't get all the channels back, can anyone offer advise on what to do next.

For example i have sky sports 2 but not one or 3 and about half the discovery channels are missing...any help would be appreciated

I've ccured the problem by updating the software to 1.10 from 1.07. everything works fine now.

hello, can anyone help me.

I have the old starview box(the first ones which came out) and all the channels are gone. I have injected new keys in however, none of the channels are working. So is there a problem with the keys or something wrong with the box?
