chipped? there is no chip unless you are talking about the rom in the SV, the SV uses firmware to decode instead of a card
re starview4 box thanks hooter for the info about firmware done as indicated perfect the starview 3 box with the sound distorted when i said chipped it was taken away and something done to enable itself to descramble itself whatever was done lasted for a few months then the sound distorted it,s only 9mths old thanks again
