Have you got a splitter on the line? If so remove it and connect the box directly to the feed coming in,

What signal level have you got? its usually the signal that causes this, to low or to high,

signal of 70 or slightly higher is about right.

hi, i have no splitter on the line. as for the signal it says the level is 64% on itv which is 1 of the affected channels and it says the signal quality is 99%

yeah its your signal thats causing it, to low mate.

Are you paying a sub from a provider or have one of their boxs?? such as Virmin box? if you have, ring them and complain that the pic is breaking up or if you arent paying for a sub of them, you may need a booster on the line as the signal is low,

ya do know there was a key roll in the UK and if the box hasnt got the autoroll firmware on it, it wont roll with the new keys, the last working file for the The BOX was V4.57 which fixed the keyroll isses, now there has been outages in the UK also

yeah he been putting the keys in manually. should i just tell him to get his hand in his pocket and get a new 1? also ive just realised that there is a splitter on my line for my broadband but even when i connect it direct to my sv it doesnt make a difference. made it worse infact.

Is this problem in ireland or uk. The reason i ask is i have the same problem with my kryptview box only started today. When we lost the sports channels etc. the last time shortly after my old starview box went like this before we lost the other channels. Could this be the full implementation of the dreaded nagra 3..........

    PS i'm in ireland

Seem to remember having same problem. Use a spiltter so the broadband comes directly from the wall point rather than though the booster.
