starview 5 HELP

    Hi,

    This is all very new to me, so please bare with me.
    I have just got my new SV5 and have set it up step by step from older posts on this forum. I have used v2.o3 firmware, I have gone into secret menu and set default key and switched on the keycode. when I do a auto scan it only picks up 54 FTA channels nothing else? Can someone please help as it is driving me mad. Thanks in advance.

    are you scanning correct provider?

    Yes, I'm scanning N*L but I have scanned all of them.

    check cable is in alright and then scan again...happens sometimes

    look at scandalou's signiture, the links for firmware is there, its under SV5 in the page you will go to
