starview 7 and a digisender

    hi all techsperts, i have a starview 7 box and i would like to view chanels in our bedroom, my question is will a digi sender (argos £30) do the job, thanks stewart.

    yes it will or if you have an old video

    use an old video player if you have one - Scart from box to video player - plug your coax cable from the video recorder into the TV upstairs the RF out on the video), now, turn the box on and press menu, turn the Av chan on the video, until you see the box menu, you should see the menu from the box on screen, now you just need to re-tune the TV upstairs in again and thats it, you will see all your chans and now one showing the box menu on yer TV upstairs, what ya watch on the box downstairs can be veiwed upstairs,

    thanks for that, couldnt seem to find any other threads regarding this, the digisender from argos also claims to be able to change the channels via its "magic eye" feature, i havent an old video rec so ill try the digisender on its own?

    yip, most of em work for what ya want, the magic eye feature is what ya want to change chans on the box or the missus will be doing a l,ot of running up and down the stairs lol

    I have a Technika video sender purchased from Tesco ( £27:00 18mths ago) This picks up the signal from my sv7 downstairs works fine in my bedroom upstairs and I can change chanels etc
