Starview box not so super

    Hi All
    just wondering if anyone had or knew where i'd get a firmware update for ireland for the starview box super usb, it was working but has movies and sports are gone as of 17th.aug.09, if anyone had any news or anything idea's i'd be grateful.

    bud read around the threads and you will find ur answer as from today only boxes workin are on chours cable everywhere else there gone bud :(:(:(:(:(

    are all the other channels besides the movies and sports working? if they are your firmware is ok.you dont say where you are living and if your on ntl or on chorus,you could try a factory setting press menu,then press factory setting and you will be asked for your pin number(if you never used a pin the pin will be set at 0000)you should now be on installation press ok and select your cable network(ntl or chorus)then go to auto scan and scan for channels,when scan is complete exit back to where it says installation,and while on installation(do not press ok)type in 1570(this gives you the hidden menu)go down to where it says emu and use the right hand arrow button to switch the emu back on,then exit back to tv and check to see if your missing channels have returned.note when doing a factory setting your pin will be 0000 and your clock and any parental settings will need to set again.hope this helps you.

    thanks to both of you for your posts , it won't be long till there's a update ,i'm sure of it, where there's a scam or scamola there's an irish man waiting to make a few quid, keep the faith just see what happens
