Help! My StarView Box had to be flashed last night when V*rG*n did a rollout and I lost a load of channels. Our normal V*rG*n box went off at the same time and it wasn't until after I flashed the StarView Box that I found this out... StarView Box is a GENUINE StarView Box and not a clone and was bought from a reputable dealer from whom I've bought a couple of StarView Boxes and The Box for friends and family. My Problem is that my PIN number has been reset to an unknown PIN number and I cannot get into the StarView Box's settings to reset a new PIN. I need to be able to do this as there are adult channels viewable and need to be deleted immediately as I am concerned my children will 'discover' them when they channel-hop to their cartoon channels tonight. Can anyone PLEASE advise me on how to get around this problem and get access to the StarView Box to reset the PIN. Thanks, sc0user! This did the job nicely! I am glad to say that I have now been able to reset the PIN again - Not sure HOW or WHY the PIN was changed in the first place?? First time it's ever happened to me - any ideas? I can rest assured that both of my lads can watch cartoons without any adult channels being seen - Phew!!
No problem. The pin set to default after you flashed the box thats all. And as you have lads I say it wont be long before they find out how to get the pin to watch these channels, may be years to come but they will find a way
