you dont need to enter an codes as its autoroll firmware, factory reset and re-scan on yer provider. make sure you have the cable plugged into the correct connection at the back

Mine did this when I first had it. It was showing 8888 then 8882 and then restarting and showing it again so I left it on for 5 minutes and then it worked otherwise you reflash it

ok mate if its someone else box i suggest you send it back to them as it need to be sent back to the supplier to repair if it has the 8882 on display you will not be able to flash it or get it to work

where are you in Uk ireland

if in Ireland only the Kryptview would be on the same level as that box

and the only one apart from a linux box that is working

in Uk you have a good few choices starview digivox are much the same support is not good well in Ireland non existence

the Kryptview is a good box well supported in the Uk and Ireland

end of June they will be back in stock

the only thing you have to do now is decide on what box kryptview was only down for one day

the other box was down for nearly 12 weeks

so they are both going to do the same thing give you channels

so support would be a big factor to me if they go off again which box is going to get the support first

I have a starview 4 which takes ages to boot up.
When switched on it displays 8882/8888/---- for an age then sometimes B-01 and actually comes on. I'm talking over 20 minutes sometimes. Is this right? Sometimes it turns off, the screen goes completely blank and needs turning off then on again to get it to do something.

The box has been flashed since March and worked fine until recently.

if your in the UK - flash it with the 1.09 version, in ireland use the latest fix the beta file to see if this fixs it.
