it looks like you wont get long out of it mate, as nagra 3 is on the way. i cant say how long you will get out of it but some areas have been changed over. here is an excellent thread with a list of areas affected by n3(all credit to mickah) http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-59/nagra_3-where_we_stand-updated_with_n3_areas_in_uk-811964/ .i suppose if you took a chance and it worked for 3 or 4 months well it would have paid for itself, an other option is a free to air reciever and dish pointed at the sky satellite, lots of good free channels on there to keep you going.

if i was buying one, knowing that it may last 1 month till whenever. i wouldn't pay too much in the hope that you'll get more for your money,, i've got and most people i know have got a starview 4,, perfectly good little boxes,, easy to set up. and think you can get them for around £75.. but of course this is just my imput, other's will have different idea's, at the end of day, all depends how much you wanna spend and risk with n3 only round the corner..

as shayne says starview 4 would be a less pricey model (given the n3 situation)and starview is also a very easy box to flash, and even to enter codes manually is a doddle. scroll down to the afterdawn marketplace section you may get one for a song.

well a lot of people selling their boxes in the afterdawn marketplace section will most likely be irish(due to nagra 3)but you may get someone from the uk, in any case even new they are very low priced.
