starview "the box"

Hello all,
can anyone tell me what is the best software to install on the box??. im using v4 on an older starview and works fine, but i've gotten the newer model starview and have read that v5 is the one to use?? (im in dublin n*l) can anyone advise??

The latest firmwa*e for "The B0x" for Ireland Is 4.50 and can be found in Eamos site at the bottom of my post

hey could anybody help me. i have just got "the box" and have the latest version 4.50 installed but when i do a scan it says 0 programmes found. im on the chorus network in wexford

Hey, hoping someone can help me out here also. just got "the box" and it is up and running. In the kildare area..provider is ch**us however i have only managed to recieve approx 36 channles...can somone help me out here..Thx

 

You can do a manual scan for these freq to see if you gain more channels

There you will see the options

Can anyone help me.

I've had problems with my starview getting all my station's.
I usully just reset factory settings and do a auto scan to get them all back. This time however..when I start my auto scan it starts at 1/24...then to ?/37....but never go's up to ?/46..which means i'm not getting all my channels. i'm getting 96 every time. i used to get about 141. I cant get any movie channel's or sky sport 1 and a couple more....

When you reset to factory settings turn the box off from the back for a minute. Then turn it back on and do an autoscan. Make sure you turn your key emu back on as well.
