Well after a couple of years of owning my gamecube, it seems to have started to crap out. About a year ago (give or take a couple of months), my gamecube started to give me a funny disc read error. First I tried putting a giant fan beside the gamecube because somebody said it was a fan problem. It worked but the fan was too loud. So, my dad and I took apart the gamecube, specifically to take out the dvd unit. We took it out and recalibrated the laser by rotating a screwdriver to calibrate it. It worked for a few months and would give the error, so we would fix it again. It went on for about a year, and I didn't really care as I could fix it. Now, after about a half hour of playing it. An error popped up saying an error has occured. Not a disc read error , just an error. Does anybody know what that could mean, and how to fix it?
