still burning slow

    i tried the instructionsto checking my DMA mode but I didnt have the options that are in the instructions for my windows xp

    Does Device Manager show a Primary and Secondary IDE Channel under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers? If not, what is showing there? Do you have a RAID controller instead?

    Im gona have to check when i get home I dont recall I have a dell inspirion thet I bought last June if that helps
