i have tried all the steps that the past threads suggested and still no luck i use a pioneer dvrao5u and i use dvd dycrypter to make the iso and use either dvd dycrypter or nero to burn but when i try to burn at 4x it gives me the dredded power calibration error i can burn at 2x or lower with no problems. i use ritek g04 media please help thanks.
I am havingg the same problem with the Ritek media I just got. I put in a thread a little befor yours, but no replies. Never had a burning problem before. I did not check for calibration error as I was thinking it might be compatibility with my Pinnacle Instant Copy software
ok finaly my problem got solved i burned 2 disks at 2.4x and they burned perfect then i tried to burn another only this time i set it to burn at 4x and i was waiting for the power calibration error but guess what it burned fine at 4x i dont know how but i guess it fixed itself hope this works for others just burn a few at lower speeds then try a higher speed later ok thanks everyone.
