didn't see the critical update post till now, I have had two max v 2008 boxes die on me this week, Got them on ebay, not clones. Seller wont replace them, call his phone hangs up then turns off his phone, email him no response the knob, €400 gone down the crapper. Is there no factory or manufacturer place i can send them to instead to get replaced...

    Cheers for any info.

Sounds like you have been done alright. Although these are not clones, (as there are no max V clones as yet). The seller should take them back under warranty. The sole distributors for the Eurovox is a UK based company called Rayyonics Ltd. Although they will not take them back directly as it is the resellers responsibilty.

Failing all that there should be a jtag image available for the black tsop sooner or later and you may be able to have them repaired.
